In the Employee Spotlight series, we set aside some time to sit down with our employees to discuss their roles, personal interests, and how they make Legend Web Works a better place to work. You already know Legend Web Works as a superior website developer and digital marketing firm, now it's time to meet the team!
Today we will introduce you to Cody Hale, our Project Manager for web development. He plays a key role in understanding our clients’ needs and ensuring those needs are translated to the webpage.

What is your role, and what does your job entail?
I am one of the Project Managers for the web development department at Legend Web Works. I interface with clients to understand their needs and then work with the web development team to delegate tasks for a quick and accurate response. It is my job to translate our clients' visions into tangible assets on their websites.
How long have you been in the role?
I have been in this role since May of 2023 and so far, I am loving it!
How did you get started in the industry?
I attended Sinclair Community College starting in 2010 and launched my career from there. I started working in the field of e-commerce and web development and garnered a lot of on-the-job experience.
What are you best at in terms of your job?
I am still relatively new at this position, but so far, my favorite part is interacting with clients. Meeting and discovering their needs while balancing best practices for our site models and SEO is equal parts challenging and rewarding.
My experience is predominately in e-commerce, specifically third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart) and website platforms (Big Commerce, Shopify, Magento, Squarespace). This offers me a unique perspective when it comes to web development and allows me to not only connect with clients who may have experience on those platforms but also leverage potential solutions that can make development easier.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
I love playing music! I have played in a few bands over the years mostly as a frontman/singer, but I also play bass guitar, piano, and I am now learning ukelele. My son and I are huge explorers, and we love to go hiking any chance we get.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Outside of work, I am a huge media fan and I have a sizable collection of movies, books, vinyl, and video games. Zelda is one of my favorite video games, and the newest installment has been taking up a lot more of my time than I care to admit! As I said earlier, I also love playing and listening to music and hiking with my son.
