A Day in the Life of an Account Coordinator

Welcome back for another entry in the series “A Day in the Life of...” where we take a moment to explore the different roles and positions at Legend Web Works, and what those employees have learned during their time in their specific position.

Today we will sit down with Account Coordinator Alyssa Harp and share the wisdom she has to offer.

A Day in the Life of an Account Coordinator

My name is Alyssa Harp. I have been with Legend Web Works as a full-time employee for about a year and a half.

What is your role and how long have you been in your role?

My current role is as an Account Coordinator. When I first started full-time with Legend Web Works, my role focused on assisting all of our departments from Billing to Support to New Development. In the last 8 months, I have begun to work more with the New Development team while continuing to assist with Support. What do you do on a typical day?

My day usually consists of scheduling meetings, answering the office line, conducting CMS Training, conducting website testing, and uploading content to the websites under New Development.

How has your role changed?

I have definitely learned a lot more about the New Development side and process in the last 8 months. I am more involved in projects, which means I get to really see our client’s site evolution and assist with making updates and changes. I have also learned so much more about all our tools (4.0, 5.0, 6.0, Athletics, and Schools) and assisted many of our clients in learning those tools as well.

What do you love about your role?

I love being able to help our clients and assist with projects under New Development. I love being able to see sites come together as well as having the opportunity to meet many of our clients.

What are some of the things that make your job unique?

My job is unique because all of our clients are unique, and with that comes each new site being unique. I am always learning more about industries I wasn’t familiar with through assisting with their site content or learning about our clients and their profession through our CMS Training.

Learning from the Legend Team

There are many unique positions that make up the Legend Web Works team. Everyone knows something a little bit differently, and it is our collective knowledge that makes us strong.

What did you learn from Alyssa’s experiences and how can her wisdom help you in your career?
